The little trees are a quieter expression of our times. Transplantation, displacement, feelings expressed in allegory and in symbols. Our times are not easy.We are vulnerable to forces that we cannot control, understand or effectively address. Humanity seems to be split into alternate realities. The little trees bear witness to all this. They are a wise, quiet presence.  They bear witness.
